• What is a gum graft ?
    A gum graft is normally obtained from the roof of your mouth although there are a number of commercially available substitutes. The graft may be carried out before, during or after implant placement.

    Sometimes, to simplify treatment, I recommend the use of gum coloured porcelain instead of a gum graft. A gum graft may be required to shape the gum or correct a deficiency and improve appearance.
